Alright, so you may not believe me when I say this, but...I have never rode in a golf kart before! I know, I know crazy, right? My awesome clients wanted to take the second part of their maternity session at a beautiful golf course they had met at. I loved the idea so we made it happen! Since the golf course was so big, we rented a golf kart, drove around the outskirts (dodging golf balls here and there....jk) and stopping at prime spots to capture Karen and Colin with the beautiful Sandia mountains in the background.
I am so excited to be sharing these fun engagement photos with you all! I love spending time with my clients especially during their engagement session because it allows us to get to know each other in person while having a great time too! I think this aspect is crucial so that by the time your wedding day arrives, we are familiar with each other which makes taking photos seamless!
Patricia and Pablo are the sweetest couple and I very much enjoyed my time photographing them. They are recently engaged and the love they have for each other really shines in these photos. They are planning their wedding for next spring and I'm so happy I get to be a part of it! We decided to venture to a local winery for their engagement session and I'm so happy we did because this is such a pretty location! It was raining just enough to where we had to wait it out at times, but nevertheless we still had a great time snapping these fun moments. Come take a look into our session and enjoy the photos! :o)
I am super excited to be sharing this awesome maternity series with you all, featuring my great friend Lisa and her husband Lloyd! They are expecting their first child in late August and I couldn't be any more excited for them!! For those of you who may not know, Lisa is the owner of Lisa Anne Photography and has been one of my greatest mentors! She is such an inspiration to me and I love our friendship. When she asked me to take her maternity photos I was absolutely ecstatic, but also knew I had big shoes to fill! We decided to split this maternity session into two parts; the first location was at a coffee shop called Zendo which is nestled in Albuquerque's downtown area. This hidden little coffee gem offered a great atmosphere and cool vibes. We ordered coffee, talked, laughed and took some pretty awesome photos! Come take a look into part one of this maternity series! Enjoy! :o)
Welcome to part two of Lisa and Lloyd's maternity session! After our coffee shop session, we decided to venture to a new destination that offered a plethora of southwestern foliage with naturally lit scenery. For this location we ventured to Plants of the Southwest Albuquerque and I couldn't be any happier with our time spent there! This nursery was the perfect setting and we found so many cozy spots to stop and take some gorgeous photos. As a huge southwestern plant lover, it took everything I had to not purchase every pretty flower and cactus I saw! So much variety and the folks there are great! Congratulations to Lisa, Lloyd and their little one!
Being a natural light photographer means that I absolutely LOVE to take advantage of the "golden hour" as do most photographers! There is just something about the way the sun casts its magnificent rays over the earth that creates the most perfect, golden and magical of moments. For Breanna's senior portraits, we ventured out near the base of the Sandia Mountains to capture these stunning shots! We walked along the La Luz trail talking, laughing and stopping at the most ideal locations to capture Breanna glowing in the sun! I hope you enjoy the photos and congratulations on graduating Breanna!! I am so excited for you!!
I am so excited to finally be sharing this exceptionally beautiful senior session taken at the Albuquerque Botanical Gardens. I was honored to have this amazing opportunity to capture Tristan who is such a sweet, loving and absolutely gorgeous girl! She made me laugh so much and taking photos of her was an absolute breeze! We ventured around the gardens sharing stories, taking in the beauty of the natural settings and stopping to capture only the most beautiful of moments. I hope you enjoy these photos just as much as I had taking them!!
