Chrisi was absolutely amazing. She gave so much to our wedding--her pictures of us show the love I felt for my new husband, my friends and my family at our wedding.. She was excellent at action shots and family shots--large family shots--that I had just assumed would look like a hot mess.
Before the Wedding:
Chrisi came up to Santa Fe and met us. She took the time to ask us exactly what we wanted, and got to know us as a couple. She was extremely professional--always responding to emails within a twenty-four hour period and keeping me on task in an extremely polite way.
During the Wedding:
She was always around and not intrusive. For a photographer I think that can be a hard line to find. I have been to weddings where the photographer blocked the view of the Mother of the Groom!
I feel she captured every photo I had expressed an interest in, and I feel I asked for a lot--full family shots of six families! She took detailed shots of my decorations, rings and dress that are beautiful. (This is something that I didn't know I wanted, but made my wedding photos.)
I had two ceremonies over two days--one of them was extremely culturally sensitive. She did an excellent job of capturing my Lakota culture and the ceremony without capturing sacred moments and with utter respect for me and my guests. If you are doing any type of religious or cultural ceremony I would absolutely encourage using Chrisi.
After the Wedding:
She sent us the most thoughtful package and gave us a preview of photos in about a week. We received our photos in a very short period of time--about five weeks. She also posted us on her instagram--which made me feel extremely special. (Sounds vain, but it was still awesome!)
My only regret is I did not have engagement photos taken with her. I will use her for any upcoming milestones in my life. I have also recommended her to my friends and family.
Feel free to ask Chrisi for samples of my wedding to see her lovely lovely work.
